Registration

Registration is open for the 13th International Conference on Highly Frustrated Magnetism. The registration fee covers:

  • One-day tutorials (May 25, 2025)

  • Five-day conference

  • Morning and afternoon coffee breaks with snacks during the conference

  • Three lunch bags

  • One conference dinner

 

Warning: The HFM conference is not affiliated with any organization that arranges accommodations. Please do not respond to anyone requesting your credit card information.

We recommend that participants requiring a Canadian visa submit their abstract early and complete their registration once accepted (notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent after prompt review). An official invitation letter will be issued to facilitate the visa application process.


Registration Fee

Early bird rates valid through Feb. 15, 2025: 

  • Faculty/Researcher/Postdoctoral fellow: CAD $700 (~ USD $500) + processing fee

  • Student: CAD $400 (~ USD $290) + processing fee

Regular registration rates valid from Feb 16, 2025 to March 31, 2025:

  • Faculty/Researcher/Postdoctoral fellow: CAD $800 + processing fee

  • Student: CAD $500 + processing fee

Late registration rates valid from April 1, 2025 to May 30, 2025:

  • Faculty/Researcher/Postdoctoral fellow: CAD $900 + processing fee

  • Student: CAD $600 + processing fee

 


Registration Cancellation Policy

  • In all cases, the processing fee will not be refunded.

  • Cancellations made by March 31, 2025, will be refunded in full less a $100 CAD administrative fee. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the BYou group (brandi@byougroup.com).

  •  Cancellations made on or after April 1, 2025, will not be eligible for a refund.

  • For the nationals of countries requiring a physical sticker visa on passport will be refund in full (less than a processing fee), in case their application is not processed in due time,  provided they submitted their application on or before January 31, 2025. The refund request should be made by 11:59PM (EST) April 30, 2025 in writing. Documentation including the visa application ID, application date, and application status is required.
