Unfortunately, ICAP-27 has been postponed to 2022. If you had already registered, you will be funded the full registration fee, in Canadian dollars, using the same method of payment originally used to pay the conference fees. You should receive a direct email concerning this from the ICAP secretariat. (If you require a refund and did not receive an email communication from the ICAP 2020 Secretariat, please email icap2020secretariat@venuewest.com.) We apologize for any inconvenience and expense that the meeting postponement causes you. 

Register for ICAP 2020

Registration is currently paused for ICAP, due to a possible postponement of the meeting. If and when re-opened, you will be asked to follow this link to the ICAP 2020 registration sitemanaged by Venue West, the conference organizer for ICAP2020. Some additional information about what to expect is as follows. Note that this link will provide registration only: abstracts will be submitted separately.

Abstract submission will be managed separately though the Indico portal, starting on 1 April 2020. [Update: abstract submission delayed, pending a decision on the meeting status.] Each registrant may submit one poster abstract. However, delegates are not required to present a poster - registration is the only requirement for attending ICAP.

Student Delegates

In order to receive the Student registration rate, you will need to provide your institution’s name, expected year of completion, supervisor’s name and supervisor’s email address during registration. Please note that if you are a postdoctoral fellow, you must register at a Full Delegate rate.

Payment Information

All registration fees may be paid by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), by Bank Transfer or by cheque (payable to Venue West Conference Services). To be eligible for the early bird rate, payment must be received no later than May 15, 2020. Registrations are not confirmed until payment is received in full. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted. Any bank charges incurred (including not-sufficient-funds (NSF) fees and any credit card charge backs for challenged registrations) must be paid by the sender.

Credit Card Payments Online

The preferred method of payment is via credit card, and results in an instant confirmation of a delegate attendance. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard and Visa. All transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to Venue West Conference Services.

Bank Transfer details will be sent upon registration.


Your registration is incomplete until your cheque is received! Please indicate the name of the delegate on (or with) your cheque that you registered online. Please address the cheque to Venue West Conference Services and mail it to the address below:

Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are permitted until June 14, 2020. Registrants will receive a full refund less a CAD $100 administrative fee. If ICAP-27 is postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, a full refund without penalty will be offered to all registrants. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Venue West Conference Services no later than June 14, 2020. For visa application denials, the cancellation policy will be extended by one month to July 14, 2020 provided you started your application no later than April 15, 2020.  Applicants must provide proof of the visa application stating the submission date and the denial letter to receive a refund. Registration transfers to another person are permitted and must be submitted in writing.
