The main venue for ICAP-27 is the spectacular Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), at 273 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Ontario. Since 1886, the Royal Conservatory has offered a sequenced system of study and assessment for music education to students across Canada. Its Koerner Hall offers an unparalleled acoustic experience to lovers of music (or physics).
The poster sessions will be held at Hart House (7 Hart House Circle), which less than ten minutes' walk from the RCM into the University of Toronto Campus. During the academic year, Hart House is a student centre, offers rooms for studying, recreation and socializing. Its facilities include a theatre, an art gallery, reading and sitting rooms, lounges and reception areas, offices, a library, music rooms, conference and study rooms, as well as a restaurant.
Each of these venues is only a few minutes' walk from conference hotels [see ICAP-27 Map] and from the closest subway stops: St. George station and Queen's Park station. What to learn more about Toronto? Follow these links for its history, festivals, parks, museums, and other attractions.
